Whytesmoke.com is about restoration of our community. Helping homeowners stay put, leave with dignity, buy, sell, what have you. That's what we are here for. A clearinghouse of information and options is here and available to YOU.

Unless you're living the life of a very privileged sort, we've all begun looking around our world wondering what's happened?? Scratching our heads and trying desperately to understand what has transpired. We went from prosperity as an expectation to seeing tremendous loss in our 401k's, our property values, our jobs, our overall expectations of what our present and our future will resemble.

As Realtors in our community, we experience so much. If we're doing it right, we get to know our clients. We learn about their hopes, their dreams, their aspirations for their own future and that of their family's. In that process we see their successes and their losses. Over the past couple of years, both of us have personally witnessed much sadness, much loss for our clients. We've walked hand in hand with them in an effort to help them sift through their set of circumstances, help them make decisions, and guide them to the resources available to them in our community. One too many times we've watched our clients attempt to navigate what seems like an impossible situation. Most of the time, they muster through and come out on the other side realizing that better times are to come and they will manage through. That this is a just a blip in the radar screen of their life. This is our sincerest hope for each of our clients whether they are able to save their property or not.

Of late, we have fervently believed that the long list of vacant properties in our community are detrimental to it's overall wellbeing. For us and our community to recover, we need to get these properties lovingly inhabited. Restoring these homes is critical to our community overall and to all of our psyches. To fully recover, we need to take these properties and breathe new life into them in the form of WHYTESMOKE.COM. This has not yet been done but we are here now. We are here to help facilitate.

We are here to help in the greening of these properties, rehabilitating them responsibly and soundly is the GREENEST thing we can do for our community. To take each property, to employ green systems in them, is to move us forward in a responsible manner. There are many, many opportunities, large and small, for each home owner to live more mindfully and in a far less impactful manner. There are sound, simple strategies that each and every home owner can utilize that will not only be cost efficient, but will be a simpler, easier lifestyle.

We have been given signs, albeit a smoke signal or a change in the world that will transform us all forever. Our families, our friends our colleagues, our neighbors all have questions, all have doubts in the "system." Yet there is hope and there is community to move us all through these times. Our part of the equation is to be of service and to be a place where information is freely shared and professional minds are at work for you. The intent is to make our world, our communities, and our block a better place to be for everyone.
